CBSE SAMPLE PAPER MARKS WEIGHTAGE

CBSE TERM 1 SAMPLE PAPER WEIGHTAGE OF MARKS
CBSE has released sample paper for CLASS X and CLASS XII First term. But the marks weightage is different for different subjects.

Main points regarding weightage of marks.
1 Multiple choice question given in sample paper carry equal marks but not of one marks each for all sample papers.
2. In sample paper of Mathematics and all languages except English for CLASS X and CLASS XII, each question carries one mark. 
3. For other subjects each question carries equal marks.
The weightage of marks per question will be as follow:

15 25 0.60


4 In total marks scored by a student the fraction will be round off to the next high numerical value.
 For example 22.1 marks  to 23 marks.

5 No marks will be deducted for wrong answer, so there is no negative marking in any subject.

6 In different subject you have to attempt different number of questions.

Also there is Mandatory questions in Hindi Elective.

In Physics , Chemistry and Biology: In case more than desirable number of questions are attempted, ONLY first number of asked questions will be considered for evaluation.

For example In SECTION A This section consists of 25 multiple choice questions with overall choice to attempt any 20 questions. In case more than desirable number of questions are attempted, ONLY first 20 will be considered for evaluation.

Same pattern can be used for Class XI Term 1.

Same pattern can be used for Class IX Term 1.
